As a social media manager, you will play a vital role in helping us raise awareness, engage our supporters, and promote our mission. How we started

In 2022, we, three passionate teenagers, noticed a troubling pattern in our community: Latin American immigrants had not received proper education in their home countries due to low income. Motivated by our shared vision for equality and a better future, we decided to take action. We founded Learning With Latinos to raise awareness and gather funds to address this critical issue. Our journey began with small initiatives and has since grown into a movement dedicated to ensuring every child, regardless of their background or financial status, receives the quality education they deserve.

Hello, I'm Kimberly Perez, and I founded this nonprofit organization after seeing first-hand the effects of children lacking basic school supplies. I was moved to see how much a basic shortage of pencils or notebooks may cause children to struggle. I came to see that giving them these necessities could have a big impact on their academic career and general well-being. I was inspired to act as a result, and I started a platform with the goal of making sure that every child gets the resources necessary to excel in school and beyond where I am.

Hey everyone, I am Briggett! I founded this nonprofit fueled by my unwavering passion to ensure every child has the opportunity for a quality education. I firmly believe that education is the key to unlocking a bright future, and having the right tools and resources is essential for children to thrive. That's why I dedicated myself to creating an organization that not only provides educational supplies but also champions the cause of equal educational opportunities for all children.

It's not always easy, but seeing the smiles on their faces and knowing that we are helping to build a foundation for their success makes every effort worthwhile. Together, let's empower these young minds and give them the opportunities they deserve to succeed!

Growing up, I always cherished the opportunities my education provided and felt a deep empathy for those who lacked such access. When I discovered Learning with Latinos, their mission to provide underprivileged students in Latin America with basic educational resources resonated deeply with me. Joining the nonprofit was a natural step for me, as I saw it as a chance to give back and help shape a brighter future for children who deserve every opportunity to succeed. I am passionate about ensuring that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has the chance to thrive through education. My dedication and warm spirit are a testament to my belief in the power of education to transform lives. Daniella Fernandez

Hi! My name is Daniella and I am the founder and president of Learning With Latinos. I started this project because I saw a trend of Latin American immigrants in America receiving no formal education in their home countries as adolescents. This caused them to struggle in obtaining jobs and a successful future not only in their home country, but also America. This lack of formal education is a trend that can be traced back to the lack of adequate funding for schools and students, especially in rural and low income communities. Because of this, I decided I wanted to make a change and combat this issue with awareness and funding.
